Sound Metal Products LLC is:  Duane Wiebe, 40 years as a custom gunmaker; and Steve Button,  amateur maker, admirer and supporter of the custom gun trade for almost as long as Duane has been making them.   As colleagues they saw a need for a reliable and high-quality source of custom metalwork products to supply worldwide demand.   While modern in design, their guards hint at a heritage from the beginning of the 20th century:   “The golden age of fine bolt rifles."

In June 2008 they formed the company now known as Sound Metal Products, LLC in Spanaway, Washington. 

Together they have made the commitment to manufacture and deliver the finest  products available to compliment the finest firearm.
